Manager 3, Business Management

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Manager 3, Business Management to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals supporting discretionary investments. This position will be located in Redondo Beach, CA and will report to the Director of discretionary investments.

Job Responsibilities

* Manage all operational aspects of Capital and NCTA planning and reporting at the Sector level
* Coordinating AOP/LRSP process for capital and from initial inputs to the process, AOP/LRSP consolidation, to final submissions to the Sector and Corporate.
* Reporting on approved NCTA and Capital Commitment and Expenditures budget performance
* Manage NCTA budgets, Cash Capex budgets, and Accruals to ensure Sector targets are met
* Support monthly performance reporting, cash capex outlooks, Cost of Money, SOX audit requirements, fixed asset balance sheet and depreciation forecasting and reporting.
* Manage a team of senior specialists supporting the function
* Collaborate with Divisions and Sector functions in order to achieve the most efficient resource allocation and help drive the highest possible return to the Sector and Corporation.

Qualification

Basic Qualifications

* A Bachelor rsquo;s Degree from an accredited university in Accounting, Finance or similar, or a CPA
* 10+ years in business accounting or business management or similar
* Working knowledge of the property accounting and processes
* Understanding of GAAP and CAS as it relates to fixed assets and NCTA.
* Working knowledge of Capital, AUC and NCTA processes
* Ability to lead and direct others and interface with Corporate, other Sectors and organizational NCTA and capital staff members across all levels
* Be self-motivated and have strong technical skills (e.g. SAP/BW, Microsoft Office Excel, Power Point and Word).

Preferred Qualifications

* 15+ years in business accounting or business management or similar
* Accustomed to working in fast pace environments demanding strong organizational, technical and interpersonal skills
* Dynamic self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to function independently
* Strong problem solving and analytical skills
* Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple activities concurrently, able to quickly adapt to multiple demands,
* Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
