Position Summary:
The primary focus of this Functional System Analyst is to perform the role of data stewardship for Account and premise Customer data. The ideal candidate will define data elements and participate in the processes to establish policies and procedures related to the collection and accuracy of data, and perform tests on the data systems. Being a data steward ensures sufficient data quality is maintained so that the data can effectively support business processes.
Knowledge of MACSS Customer account and premise data or the specific functions within the customer system is desired and familiarity with other CIS functional areas is a plus!
The Customer Processes & Systems team is a centralized group that manages the business support required for the development, enhancement, maintenance and operation of MACSS, AEPs Customer Information System.
We are looking for a motivated individual with a high degree of initiative, individual judgment, independence, and data analysis skills. This position also requires strong communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
The ideal candidate would be technically savvy to bridge the gap between distributed business unit employees and central IT staff for business analysis, data analytics and data stewardship.
Principal Accountabilities:
1. Identify and initiate process improvements
2. Create business process documentation to support customers in the Operating Companies
3. Work to resolve outstanding system issues by applying knowledge of application functionality and associated business processes. Interact effectively with Business Unit and IT personnel to provide input to change requests and to ensure the completeness of enhancement requirements and process considerations.
4. Use oral and written communication in a clear, organized and timely manner. Obtain and share information related to current issues that may influence departmental and/or corporate operations.
5. Establish clear, practical goals and milestones that contribute to own performance and to corporate goals. Organize own work well. Demonstrate an understanding of the link between own job responsibilities and overall organizational goals. 10. Ability to write SQL to research and analyze data
11. Ability to retrieve data from various sources as necessary

13. Able to utilize tools and application to efficiently complete tasks
14. Able to troubleshoot complex issues with little to no guidance
15. Possesses skills to compile basic, visual aids using the tools and applications available for visual representation of data.
16. Experience working in Customer Information Systems.
17. Able to analyze data discrepancies between multiple systems and create processes to resolve such differences.
18. Work with Operating Companies to define any new business rules related to standardizing data.
Minimum Requirements Minimum qualifications for Functional System Analyst (Account Premise Data Steward) :
Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Engineering, Math or Statistics Bachelor's Degree in Business, IT, Engineering, Math or Statistics Field preferred
Work Experience: (5) Years of Experience with Bachelor's Degree 7 Years of Experience with Associate's Degree

Minimum qualifications for Functional Sys Analyst Assc (Account Premise Data Steward):
Education: High school diploma or GED
Work Experience: (6) Years of Experience in IT systems support with High School Diploma.
(2) Years of Experience in IT systems support with Associate's Degree.
(0) Years of Experience in IT systems support with Bachelor's Degree in business or IT.
Typically is achieved with 0-5 years of related experience. Candidates have typically obtained an Associates, or Bachelor Degree in Business, IT, or related field
