Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking to add managerial leadership roles to its Nuclear Surety Team located in Roy, UT or Huntsville, AL in support of the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. Learn more about the GBSD program here.
What You'll Get to Do:
The selected candidates will join the Nuclear Surety sub-IPT within the Mission Defense Team and manage personnel within the sub-IPT. The NS team is responsible for duties in the following areas:
Developing NS related requirements and verification plans
Implement requirements and verification plan changes in DOORS and drive changes through CM process
Ensuring consistency of requirements and verification plan implementation in the requirements database
Interfacing with the Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) team to integrate DOORS with requirements and verification architecture models
Performing capability assessment evaluations
Non-compliance adjudication
Cross-program collaboration
Supporting lower level development entities including major subcontractors to ensure designs/artifacts are compliant with AF and DoD criteria for nuclear weapons systems
Supporting and ensuring compliance for the overall nuclear certification process

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Qualification
Basic Qualifications (You'll Bring These Qualifications):
Bachelors Degree and 5 years experience leading a project and/or driving performance against schedule
Active DoD Secret clearance with a background investigation close date within the past 6 years
Minimum of 3 years of technical or functional leadership
Preferred Qualifications (These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have):
Bachelors Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline from an accredited university and 7 years of related experience, or a Master's Degree in a STEM discipline and 5 years of related experience
Experience with Nuclear Certification process and Nuclear Surety requirements (e.g. AFI 63-125, AFMAN 91-118/91-119/31-108, MIL STD 5210.41, AFI 91-107)
Experience with ICBM or Aerospace programs
Active DOD Top Secret Security Clearance
