As the Director of Enterprise Segment, you will be responsible for managing the global business activities for the Enterprise market segment within the Compute & Networking BU (CNBU) at Micron. This position will lead a team that includes Product Marketing, Business Development and Customer Program Management professionals, focusing on developing segment strategies with respect to customers and products. This position also requires close cross functional collaboration with Operations, NPI, Sales, Supply Chain, Applications and Field Applications Engineering.

Responsibilities include:

Business Planning

* Driving the definition of a 5-year business plan for the Enterprise segment for DRAM/Other
* Implementation of the business plan targets on a quarterly basis
* Review of business plan achievements and implementation of corrective actions

Market Analysis

* Analyze the overall market size/growth and define optimizations of market share targets
* Define target applications for the segment
* Identify new business opportunities and define strategy, including Go to Market Plan
* Drive worldwide regional teams to identify/enable new business opportunities

Product Strategy

* Develop the overall product strategy
* Define product requirements for Enterprise segment solutions
* Drive product decisions based on the product and segment strategies

Customer Interaction

* Global engagement with key customers and frequent customer visits
* Present innovations at major customers
* Close and coordinated collaboration with global account teams to achieve customer success in both the short and long-term horizon

Leadership Responsibility

* Lead all aspects of a team of Marketing, Business Development and Program management professionals
* Set targets and strategic direction for the worldwide team including Sales, FAE, PE, QA and SC
* Focus on growth opportunities for team through coaching, delegation, mentoring

Requirements:

* Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field as well as an advanced education in business administration preferred
* The ideal candidate will bring 10+ years of multifaceted marketing leadership and experience
* Demonstrated experience in semiconductor business with direct experience in memory and storage solutions
* Strong experience in launching products with knowledge of key global market, customers and supply chains associated with the Enterprise segment
* Strong collaboration and influencing skills that result in clear problem resolution and go forward plans
* Ability to work with and maintain good relationships with other cross functional teams, internal and external customers
* Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with multi-functional development teams and external customers
* Proven quick learning in new situations with high level of self-motivation, passion and dedication
