Job Accountabilities
::
* Process all hourly payroll for the plant and audit the hourly payroll and process in a timely and accurate manner.
* Prepare all vendor invoices for processing.
* Process Misc. Invoices for Connellsville.
* Review and correct the matching of invoices done other by salary employees within plant.
* Maintain the database system for all items manufactured in Connellsville.
* Miscellaneous duties to include ordering supplies, processing of all mail, sending department overnight packages, laminating materials, answer incoming phone calls on the main switchboard of plant.
* Match purchase orders with receivers and invoices, process them for payments to the vendors.
* Enter data for new items and changes to existing items into the database system.
* Order stationary supplies as needed.
* Misc. duties such as but not limited to processing mail, sending out packages, laminating materials, assisting in the month end closing.
* Assist with preparation and reconciliation of Physical Inventory.
* Maintaining a filing system in the purchase department materials, supplies and equipment and updating appropriate records when required.
* As appropriate, look for ways to reduce costs to the company, such as evaluating costs of purchasing from various suppliers to arrive at the best deal.
* Process returns/credits.
* Invoice problem resolution.
* Process material receiving in data base system.
* Inspecting consignments to verify if they are in order and as per agreed terms.
* Ensure audit compliance and order accuracy.
* Work with accounts payable for new vendor set-up.
* Provide assistance at the front desk to answer phones, greet visitors/vendors.
* Perform general administrative functions as necessary such as copying, filing, etc.
* Maintain setup and spoilage tracking sheets
* Maintain order change tracking sheets
Job Requirements
* Bachelor's Degree in accounting or business preferred
* In depth knowledge of accounting and mathematics.
* Ability to work with computers and software such as Microsoft Excel, as well as data processing skills, are valued.
* Good communication skills to deal with people internal to the company, as well as with suppliers, shipping agents, courier companies and sometimes government officials.
* Reliability and good attendance is essential.
