The Test Solution and Tester Development (TSTD) team designs, develops, and provides a breakthrough massively parallel low-cost test technology for silicon validation and high-volume manufacturing. The TSTD tester includes multiple Field Programable Gate Array (FPGA) devices on various instruments, drivers, and a software stack. The team is central to the organization with interfaces to Hardware design, Software development which interact with Hardware, and driver development.
We are currently looking for Intern FPGA development engineer who will work with Engineers developing next generation instruments technology to support Intel product.

Candidate must exhibit the following behavioral traits:

This is an internship and compensation will be given accordingly based on candidate education level and internship duration.

Qualifications

You must possess the below requirements to be initially considered for this position
Knowledge and/or experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work and/or classes and/or research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences

Minimum requirements:

Candidate must be pursuing Masters or PhD degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering with 3+ months of experience in the following:

* VLSI, Altera/Xilinx FPGA developments tools
* RTL/Logic design using Verilog and scripting languages such as Tcl, Perl, and Python
* Electronic Design Automation tools, flows and methodology
* Digital design and computer architecture fundamentals.
* Technical documentation
* Troubleshooting and logic skills
