Job Description

Overview:

The function of this position is to prepare product for Export shipment to Canada.

Exporter Employee responsibilities:
Prepare pallets for export stamping.
Remove stretch film from pallets.

Make sure pallets are spaced far enough apart to be able to walk around them.
Confirm that there are no damaged cases on the pallets.

Exporter will be assigned a certificate number stamp.

The Leader will instruct the Exporter as to what pallets to stamp with that certificate number.
Stamp each case with the certificate stamp.
The number must be completely legible on each case.
When done with a load, go back to each pallet and confirm that all cases have a stamp number on them. If not, stamp the cases that were missed.
Prepare the load for shipment.
Re-wrap the pallets with stretch film.
Housekeeping
Make sure all wrap that is removed is placed in a bin for recycle.
Keep the dock floor free of debris.
Clean up area at the end of the shift.
Any duties as assigned by Lead or Supervisor.

Able to cross train within all job functions at the Freezer Warehouse

Requirements
Possess a high regard for safety in the workplace.
Ability to bend, stoop and be on your feet for extended periods of time.

Must be able to read, write, and verbally communicate in English.

MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A PRE EMPLOYMENT DRUG SCREEN AND BACKGROUND CHECK.
