Job Description

Manages the day-to-day operations of a large specialty fulfillment pharmacy including pharmacy operations, warehouse / inventory, and durable medical equipment (DME) management in collaboration with other network pharmacy teams. Plans, coordinates, directs and participates in all activities related to the dispensing, delivery, receipt and handling of medications within corporate and regulatory guidelines. Works with the pharmacy management to develop policies, procedures, and the business plan for the site. Oversight of production levels and service standards. Oversight of hiring, training, and evaluation of staff with a focus on developing leaders and building team effectiveness. Provides expert content/professional leadership on complex assignments/projects. Uses deep professional knowledge and acumen to advise functional leaders.

QUALIFICATIONS

* B.S degree with 6-8 years of relevant experience
* Graduate of ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy with a B.S. or Pharm.D. degree preferred, but not required
* Current Tennessee pharmacist license in good standing (or willing to obtain) preferred, but not required
* Willingness to obtain out-of-state pharmacy licenses preferred, but not required
* Demonstrated initiative with commitment and ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
* Strong analytical capabilities and organizational skills
* Demonstrated good judgment and effective decision-making skills
* Strong focus on leadership development and team effectiveness
* Experience in volume and budget forecasting
* Advanced problem solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments to resolve issues.
* Good oral and written communication skills.
* Strong focus on customer service, quality and accuracy.
* Strong focus on building client and internal partner relationships
* Ability to adapt in a changing environment.
* Ability to work a flexible schedule for peak volume times.
* Proficiency with MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word
* Willingness to travel <10% of time

Job Description:

In this role, you will serve as a Fulfillment site leader responsible for pharmacy, warehouse, inventory, and durable medical equipment (DME) operations. You will need to understand business problems and opportunities in the context of the requirements and to recommend solutions. In this role, you will work as a key partner among the operational value stream including, but not limited to, front-end pharmacy operations, customer service, insurance verification, procurement, pharmacy practice, and compliance.

Essential Functions

* Develop employee skills, evaluate performance and provide feedback. Oversees resolution of employee relations. Conducts hiring, training, and evaluation of staff.
* Creates a culture of engagement, enablement, and positive work environment.
* Leverages principles of Lean and Six Sigma to create a culture of continuous improvement Implement programs and process improvements to enhance the level of internal and external customer service provided.
* Represents pharmacy operations in cross-functional meetings and projects.
* Schedule and monitor staff and day-to-day workflow to achieve production and quality goals.
* Monitor costs to ensure compliance with cost to fill goals. Work with management for creation of labor expense budget forecasting.
* Work with management team to analyze operations and overall efficiencies.
* Serve as a point of escalation for issues requiring a higher degree of expertise or discretion to resolve.
