The Third Party Risk Consultant 1 (Business Support Consultant 1) charged with the identification, assessment, monitoring and reporting on risks associated with WFAs Third Party and associated management programs.

This position will work within WFA Third Party Management team to ensure adherence to appropriate Corporate Third Party policies. This consultant will ensure risks are documented, remediated and reported appropriately to stakeholders. WFA has a complex interaction of Third Parties across all areas of operations and technology - this position is critical in ensuring risk associated with Third Party implementations and interactions are managed in an environment of ever-increasing expectations.

This position requires a proactive individual who can successfully partner with numerous areas of the firm to identify potential risks and develop practical approaches to mitigating those risks. This position will also be tasked with ongoing monitoring, support and reporting on Third Party risk program activities such as audit support, risk acceptances and risk remediation.

This position will be responsible for consultation on risk-based programs to identify, assess and mitigate any operational risk that arises from inadequate or failed internal processes, people, systems or external events, while maintaining a balance between risk mitigation and operational efficiency. Works with assigned business units and provides operational risk consultation for projects and initiatives through knowledge of Third Party policies and procedure. Presents to mid-level managers on business performance and recommends strategies to implement changes and improvements. Consults with business to develop corrective action plans and effectively manage change. Reports findings and drafts recommendations to mitigate risk to operational risk. Coordinates production of periodic operational risk performance reports for senior management, including trend analysis and recommended strategies.

** Location The only location that will be considered for this position will be at 1 North Jefferson, St. Louis, MO. Telecommuting is not an option for this position

Required Qualifications
* 3+ year of experience in one or a combination of the following: administrative support, project management, implementation, business operations or strategic planning demonstrated through work or military experience

* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
* Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
* Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
* Knowledge and understanding of compliance or operational risk
* Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
* Knowledge and understanding of Wells Fargo s Third Party Information Management Systems (TRIMS) database
* 2+ years of third party risk management experience

Other Desired Qualifications

* Experience with third party relationship management
* Previous experience with monitoring a risk based program
* Previous experience with moderate to high risk analysis
