Kubernetes Development Lead

The Challenge:

Thats why we need you, an experienced DevSecOps engineer, to help us create a secure platform servicing over 200k analysts, warfighters, and policymakers in accessing the right information, anywhere in the world.

This position on our team is focused on using your proven Kubernetes integration experience to be our team's Kubernetes transition. You will lead our platform modernization efforts to incorporate monitoring, automation, and container orchestration tools to increase scalability and availability of services. You'll collaboratively work with our team to support system design and decomposition of monolithic architectures for compatibility with cloud-native and container platforms. You'll research new technologies and open source tools to help us re-tool and streamline our development, testing, and continuous integration tools.

You Have:

-7+ years of experience in an infrastructure, DevOps, or application development role

-Experience with container tools, including Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift

-Experience with developing in Java, Python, or Go

-Experience with automation tools, including SaltStack, Ansible, or Puppet

-Experience with Helm

-Knowledge of container networking, monitoring, and storage solutions

-Knowledge of container security technologies, including Twistlock, Falco, or Clair

-Knowledge of messaging systems, including JMS, AMQP, Kafka, or NATS

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

-Experience with streaming frameworks, including Apache Storm, Kafka Streams, or Spark

-Experience with database and monitoring tools, including MySQL, MongoDB, EFK, or Prometheus

-Experience with CI/CD tools, including Bamboo, Jenkins, or Gitlab CI

-Experience with virtualization and on-premise infrastructure, including ESXi, Xen, or OpenStack

-Ability to develop custom Kubernetes Operators

-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

-Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) Certification
