Expedites materials, parts, and/or components from supplier, requiring technical knowledge and independent judgment.
Job Functions / Responsibilities
NATURE OF DUTIES
Performs full range of complex clerical and specialized administrative tasks, requiring knowledge of organization and policies
Negotiates delivery of expedited materials from suppliers to ensure timely arrival
Organizes and creates Bill of Material paperwork for shipping and receiving plant material
Responsible for multiple transactions involving receiving and inventory control.
Maintains tracking and approval flow for inventory adjustments.
Provides updates to critical business reports which support daily material operations
Performs other related duties as assigned
Attendance is an essential function of all positions
Qualifications
Qualifications
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
o Must pass test for Excel, PowerPoint, Word
Working knowledge of material expediting
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Efficiency in EWI preferred
Ability to work with multiple databases
High school diploma or GED
Three to four years of related work experience, preferably possessing two-three years with PACCAR
