The products our group (Citizen Application Platform - CAP) is responsible for include Dynamics 365 and Power Platform (Power Apps; Power Automate; Power Virtual Agents and substrate technologies like Dataverse (CDS)). The technology stack powers declarative metadata-driven Business Apps Platform that allows building no-code/low-code applications, workflows, and bots via its range of customizations and extensions capabilities.
Within CAP, Governance team manages the key portfolio of enterprise trust capabilities for D365 and Power Platform like data loss prevention policies, governance workflows, admin privilege authorization and resource authorization, admin analytics and auditing, performance and diagnostic reporting, security risk identification etc.
Authorization PM on Power Platform Governance team is a thought leadership role that requires deep customer empathy, technical prowess, and execution excellence. You will be responsible to drive industry leading access control systems to manage user identity and role-based access controls for administrative privileges and resource access.
* Collaborate with multiple verticals across BAG to create a homogenous AuthZ platform for all our assets - D365, PowerApps, PowerAutomate, PVA etc. across admin, maker, and user personas.
* Envision and deliver an innovative product roadmap that differentiates us from competition by bringing together the best of Microsoft access control and identity management technologies from AAD, M365 and Azure ecosystems
* Directly engage with end customers and field teams to deeply understand requirements and prioritize the right investments.
* Break large epics into meaningful quarterly milestones, write detailed functional specs, manage product backlog, deliver features maintaining quality bar and build customer facing collateral.
* Systematically reduce IPD by triaging issues and translating insights into meaningful product investments
* Transform legacy RBAC system into modern intuitive experiences that is high on functionality but low on complexity.
* Manage business KPIs and customer facing analytical reporting for platform AuthZ
* At least 7 years program management experience
* Proven track record of delivering complex cloud-based products in a fast-paced environment
* Have innate customer empathy and ability to translate ambiguous and diverse requirements into a cohesive product roadmap is a must.
* Deep understanding of user and application identity management, role-based access control, database security concepts is desirable.
* Excellence in leading partner collaboration across multiple teams both within and without the organization boundaries
* Bachelor's, Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
