The Business & Sales Operations (BSO) group is the center of excellence for cross-business execution performance, planning, and sales operations. The team helps scale execution, operationalize business & sales programs, drive business, sales, and partner transformation that accelerate Microsoft's business objectives regionally (LATAM). This role reports to the Business & Sales Operations Lead (BSO Lead) who is manager of the BSO team and is responsible for leading, creating, and orchestrating processes across all business groups regionally. This means the Business Program Manager (BPM) assists the BSO Lead execute the role in the following areas:
* Plays trusted advisor and business partner to the local leadership (LATAM)
* Ensures quality plans in place to drive growth; Takes action based on insights from execution; Strives for excellence in project and process based work, simplifying processes without compromising outcomes; Provides increased transparency and integration across all groups. The BPM is a senior business partner that leads key decisions across the business as well as marketing planning and governance.
The Sales Operations Program Manager (SOPM) is focused on the following:
* Drives the process for sales operations planning for the fiscal year to maximize area performance.
* Drives sales discipline and enables new habits to help sales teams achieve targets. Provide high-quality, backend support (tools, processes, information) coupled with timely data-driven insights.
* Leads standardization of processes and tools and drive continuous improvement to optimize productivity.
The Sales Operations Program Manager (SOPM) is expected to raise sales efficiency, sales productivity, and process compliance locally by means of consulting with the sales teams and implementing best practice sales operations processes.
Responsibilities
This role is central for the execution and improvement of the seller experience, covering key operative processes that support revenue landing, escalations and deal processing activities to ensure correct revenue and consumption recognition to our sales team. Working in partnership with Operations, Sales Managers, Finance, Sales Excellence Leads and our Service providers.
The Support Sales Operations Program Manager (SOPM) is responsible to Provide Data-Driven Insights, Improve Processes and Tools and Nurture Sales Transformation, including:
* Orchestrate execution of our Seller Support Desk, ensuring agility on case resolution, maximizing coverage of operational processes that impact the organization.
* Provide data-driven insights about performance of key process, identification of blockers, and definition of solutions to improve sales experience.
* Identify opportunities to make efficient utilization and agility of investment founds.
* Lead standardization of processes and tools across the Area to enhance sales productivity.
* Support sales closing activities working in partnership with Operations, unblocking issues, providing visibility of transactional risks and connecting other support teams.
Qualifications
* 2+ years of working experience and deep knowledge of Sales Operations, Business Planning, Sales Excellence and/or Finance
* Proven experience of driving rigor and sales discipline
* Experience delivering end-to-end deep data analysis and actionable strategic insights
* Experience with executive communication with business stakeholders and C-level audiences
* Proven communication and collaboration skills (English/Spanish)

* Ability to structure complex topics/situations and build frameworks to deal with them.
* Focus on providing permanent process optimization by understanding the desired business outcome.
* Delivery of end-to-end data analysis & light ups actionable strategic insights

* Familiar with financials, pipeline, scorecards, and other relevant business performance measurements
* Change Management knowledge/experience preferred.
Education
Bachelor's degree required and/or experience in relevant fields, e.g. business, marketing, information technology, operations, finance. MBA or master's degree preferred.
