Description

Position Summary:

The Service Coordinator works closely with maintenance technicians, suppliers, clients and Aramark account management teams to respond to requests for service by allocating the proper resources to facilitate the delivery of corrective and preventative maintenance activities. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by location based on client requirements and business needs.

Essential Functions:

* Performs and coordinates a variety of duties related to dispatch and scheduling
* Responsible for receiving requests by phone and email for service; prioritizes and coordinates the handling of service requests
* Escalates requests for approval that exceed client authorization levels
* Sources new vendors and orders materials on-demand as needs arise
* Works closely with all stakeholders to communicate needs and ensure timely client service
* Manages and maintains records and documentation of service requests; utilizes work order management system to track service order activity
* Provides service excellence with every interaction by maintaining a professional, welcoming, engaging, and helpful attitude towards internal and external customers
* Handles other duties and tasks as assigned by manager



Qualifications

* Experience in dispatch or contact center environment preferred
* Demonstrates strong organizational skills, accuracy, and attentional to detail
* Ability to learn quickly and adapt to change in a fast-paced, high performance culture
* Ability to remain calm and focused when handling multiple tasks at once
* Proven interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
* Superior customer service skills; must be passionate about delivering quality service and making a positive difference in the client experience
* Possess strong computer skills - Windows, Excel and Outlook - and be internet browser proficient
