The IS&T Retail Engineering organization has the goal of providing an intuitive, seamless and inspiring customer experience interacting with our people, products and services. This Engineering Program Manager will work along side our global retail and engineering teams to support the expansion of Apple physical and online store presence. The key teams this individual will work include but not limiting to Engineering, Finance, Legal, Talent, Operations, Retail Product Management, Real Estate & Development and more.

* Retail industry knowledge and experienced in Software Development Lifecycle (i.e. Waterfall, Agile)
* Strong decision-making, problem solving and prioritization skills
* Ability to lead multiple multi-million dollar projects at a given time
* Ability to lead, take action and provide goal-oriented direction in the face of ambiguity
* Excellent oral, written and presentation skills for various levels of audience including senior leadership
* Exceptional interpersonal skills for collaborating across many international teams of different cultural backgrounds
* Comfortable inspiring change across projects, programs and processes
* Technically strong and ability to quickly understand multiple systems at a high level, in order to be able to explain to the retail business team
* Ability to work in a dynamic environment
* Must have a passion for process re-engineering and driving predictability while enabling innovation
* Must be a very good teammate with shown abilities to demonstrate collaboration and cross functional team management
* Knowledge of SAP, exposure to retail systems including POS and retail payment processing systems is a plus
* Ability to work independently with little or no supervision while maintaining a high level of efficiency
* A PMP or equivalent Project management certification is preferred.
* Working on macOS is a plus.

The Engineering PM role is responsible to encourage, mobilize and lead special projects with a focus on common deliverables, goals and timelines. This role will partner across Apple Leadership including IS&T, Retail (Online & Stores), Legal, Internal Audit, Engineering, Marketing, and Finance. You should possess the following strengths: Deal with Ambiguity: You should be comfortable and confident working in a dynamic environment, partnering with teams to move through the unknown. Flexibility when handling directional changes and ability to concurrently balance multiple large-scale programs. Confidence in the ability to listen and be patient with others working across dynamic organizations will highlight differences on how Apple departments operate.

Candidate must possess a Bachelors Degree in Engineering, or equivalent with a minimum of ten years relevant work experience.
