Our Defense Team supports our Nations warfighters, providing an emergency services platform that supports critical dispatch capabilities via a cloud-based, redundant AT&T Virtual Private Network that accommodates over 1,000,000 calls annually originating from over 70 Navy-specific locations and bases.

AT&T has an opening for an Project Specialist to support the NAVFAC Enterprise Utility Management System Project, providing site surveys and Building Monitoring System (BMS) assessments to determine the suitability for leveraging AT&T Mobility Services to connect suitably configured building equipment to a central repository inventory control and energy management efficiency purposes. This service encompasses all Continental US Navy Regions, Joint Region Marianas (Guam), and Navy Region Hawaii.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

Overall Purpose: Proven ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently. Basic knowledge and understanding of project management principles, with some exposure to current telephony industry IT capabilities regarding mobility/cellular phone service, and the ability to research and understand details and trend associated with Building Management Control Systems.

Specific responsibilities include:

* Assist with BOM creation, ordering, tracking.
* Be able to create or update executive level reports, daily, weekly, or monthly, as required.
* Familiar with the Microsoft Suite of tools to include Word, Excel, PPT.
* Experience with MS PM a plus, but not required
* Willingness to learn how to survey Building Management Systems
* Travel 25%
* Willingness to operate in a cross-functional role in an ever changing landscape. Role will have components of Project Management but will also have elements of tech/field work.

Required Clearance:

Must be a US Citizen and possess or be eligible for a Secret Clearance.

Required Qualifications:

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills;

Superior written and oral communication skills, including interpersonal skills;

Ability to use Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word;

Experience in working with multi-disciplinary teams of business and technical managers;

Experience in working with US Government entities;

Public speaking experience; ability to present on topics at customer meetings or industry events;

Desired Qualifications:

A successful candidate will have a solid understanding of the Building Management industry and current trends. Desired skills and abilities include:

Education:

BA or BS desired; substantial experience may be substituted for educational requirements.
