Engineering Manager for Enterprise Digital Engineering team will be tasked to lead Engineering teams that are creating a best in class consumer experience focused on identifying, prioritizing, shaping, complex enterprise initiatives in partnership with Digital Product Managers. This is an instrumental role in the oversight and execution of digital programs supporting several pharmacy programs that generate multi-million dollar business value to the organization and touch millions of consumers. his role has significant relationships with business stakeholders (Marketing, Operations, Formulary, Pharmacy, and other Teams) as well as digital functional teams (Product Managers, Release Train Engineers, Design and Product Owners) driving results in a matrixed environment. This role works with a top-notch organization of software developers who identify, design and deliver technology solutions using Angular, Data power, Nodejs, Native to achieve the defined business value. It is critical that you have in depth background in Agile Scrum and XP software development methodology.
You will guide the integration and validation of complex technology solutions and have proven experience with innovative technological improvements to include the architecture and roadmap working across technical organizations and senior leaders. Familiarity in pharmacy regulations is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of overall IT experience
- 5+ years leading or handling IT application teams
- 5+ years of relevant and current digital and/or ecommerce experience including APIs, Micro services, customization, integration, UI development and analytics
- 5+ years of experience with a proven track record of leadership with experience managing large or multiple teams comprising of FTEs and contractors
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in handling multiple large scale implementations at Retail, Pharmacy industries.
- Familiarity with agile processes, such as scrum, Kanban, and/or the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
- Experience is Retail Pharmacy Modernization with decommissioning legacy systems.
- Good understanding of ADA and other regulatory compliances including PCI, PII and PHI
- Strong application development background as developer, architect, or manager
- Demonstrated experience and success in direct management and supervision IT/Technical work groups to include budgeting, strategic planning, technical direction, and staff coaching/mentoring
- Experience in a large online retailer application development organization. Prior experience in large team management including, recruiting, orienting, training, coaching, monitoring and appraising job contributions
Education
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field with or equivalent
