Supports the CNO by recommending appropriate actions, strategies and/or alternatives to meet business needs relating to supporting Market President and segment leadership. Has responsibility for leading/managing all aspects of a project and or program such as planning, coordination, development, implementation including the financial implications while prioritizing work, resources and time. Ensures the end state of the project and/or business operations meets business objective(s) and that all deliverables and due dates are met. Highly collaborative process often requires managing relationships across the segments or multiple functional areas.
Scope of work includes contracting value based arrangements, Joint Venture network and contracting strategy for Banner/Aetna, and integration of CVS assets with provider ecosystem across multiple markets in CNO service area.
Required Qualifications
Demonstrated negotiation skills.
Proven track record managing complex projects and or programs that resulted in cost savings.
Multiple years proven leadership experience setting strategic direction and influencing change that resulted in quantifiable positive outcomes.
Experience managing large budgets.
10+ years managed care / health insurance industry experience.
Project management experience.
Supervisory experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Health plan experience negotiating provider agreements both FFS and value based.
Experience working for a health system in payer contracting, payer strategy, and population health functions
Business development experience focusing on market expansion, new program or product development/launch.
Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Master's Degree preferred.
