The AFS Health Analytics Lead will:

* Need to grow and build a team to meet the analytic needs of Federal health clients such as: Dept of VA and Military Health
* Possess extensive domain expertise in health in one or more of the following areas: payer, provider, research, regulatory and public health
* Understand and anticipate market trends in the analytics landscape and their impact across the health ecosystem
* Collaborate with other organizational leaders to define health analytics strategy that addresses the full breadth of the Federal health client environment and health domains
* Execute on that strategy by organizing a team to respond to client needs and advance leading edge analytic capabilities
* Work with other leaders to define the talent strategy/recruiting/staffing plans for analytics and works with recruiting to ensure pipeline of qualified resources, establishes training, to builds and sustain an effective team
* Organize work, lead teams and enable sales to grow and deliver health analytics work
* Serve as an advisor to a range of analytics stakeholders, to include health program leaders as well as CDOs and CIOs

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

* Bachelors Degree
* Strong business and technical acumen; a translator of business needs to analytic solutions
* Analytics background with experience in big data, analytics and governance with health business focus
* Successful execution of large scale, transformational programs; change agent with ability to drive cultural change and consensus

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

* A Masters Degree or higher education in a quantitative field
* 10+ years of progressive responsibility in consultative health analytic services and solution development/deployment including executive leadership ability
* Ability to attract, evaluate, mentor, retain, and lead a world class health bdata and analytics team
* Strong presentation and communication skills, able to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization
* Demonstrated interpersonal relations and negotiation skills are essential as well as strong administration and organizational

An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
