Responsibilities

We are looking for a rockstar UX Generalist/Designer to join a talented team within our Digital Experience. As a UX Generalist/Designer you will have a 'particular set of skills,' a solid understanding of UX and design principles and a strategic mind to apply them in creating clean, simple, intuitive and branded experiences. The team collaborates with business partners and other UX teams to create innovative experiences for agents, contact centers, and State Farm customers. As a UX Generalist/Designer, you will take a user centered design approach to identify user needs, research, and build solutions. In other words, you are a skilled designer, you love the work and you enjoy doing it with others.

We're looking for someone who:

* 5 or more years UX experience
* Experience utilizing Design Thinking methodologies to help product teams set experience strategy and solve customer problems.
* Heavy emphasis on experience in UX Architecture. Creating user flows, wire frames and ability to communicate with technical architects.
* Sound understanding of web design issues, including browser usability and cross-platform compatibility
* Responsive design and ecommerce experience
* Experience working with Human Interface Guidelines and Material Design
* A penchant for details and organization, including the ability to prioritize tasks, communicate progress and meet deadlines
* Experience working in agile environments
* Bachelor's degree in design or similar discipline or comparable experience preferred

Qualifications

Experience with the following Standard Design tools:

* Sketch
* InVision
* Illustrator
* Photoshop

Desired Skills:

* FIGMA
* MURAL
* InDesign

Additional Details:

* Job may require limited travel via commercial transportation and/or driving motor vehicles, and may include weekends
* Requires education and/or experience in digital graphic design
* Requires involvement in management-approved education programs and activities as applicable for continued development
