Position Overview:
The Program Management Leader will be the guide and champion of PepsiCos Data & Analytics program. The Program Management Leader must create, manage, and continually improve a culture that enables successful projects. Effectively coordinating numerous projects, managing different stakeholders, mitigating challenges, and working to achieve the desired outcomes of the Data & Analytics team. The role will oversee D&A financial planning/budgeting for annual as well as monthly forecasting by tracking expenses across the full team.
Program Organization & Operations:
* Responsible for Data & Analytics team operations; develop the strategy and vision of the program over the next 3-5 years, in collaboration with the broader Data & Analytics pillars (Data Strategy, Data Products, Data Operations, Data Science)
* Lead a team that translates strategies into program/project plans; including scope management, stakeholder management, deliverables (KPIs), schedule, budget management, risk management and resource requirements.
* Daily program management throughout the D& A program life cycle
* Defining the program governance/controls for team operations
* Planning the overall program metrics and monitoring the progress against various products and stakeholder groups
* Managing the programs budget
* Managing risks and issues and taking corrective measurements
* Coordinating the projects and their interdependencies
* Managing and utilizing resources across projects
* Managing stakeholders communication
* Aligning the deliverables (outputs) to the programs outcome with the aid of the business change manager; and
* Managing the main program documentation such as the program initiation document
Project Leadership & Change Management:
* Establish and lead proactive, transparent, and effective communications cadence to ensure timely dissemination of information with the senior leadership team, program/project teams, and matrix stakeholders
* Coach direct/indirect reports to ensure a comprehensive, integrated program strategy that delivers outcomes of strategic importance to the business
* Act as a global leader for cross-functional project teams; identify the Project Teams, oversee the Project Plans (Gantts), leads and oversee coordinate execution of all activities required for change implementation
* Lead a team that creates/maintains the project documentation that will be used throughout the change lifecycle ensuring change is controlled and aligned with strategy and business objectives
* Prioritize work and resources to best meet priorities and financial targets, resolving issues and initiating corrective actions as appropriate for delivery of the program
* Lead and motivate the team; ensuring the behaviors norms expectations of team members are established.
* Ensure that the cross-functional members work as a team focused on business unit goals identified and managing program and solution interdependencies
* Hold product teams accountable to critical milestone dates; highlighting opportunities for acceleration; clearly communicating project delays and escalations
Program Budget & Performance:
* Manage D&A team budget; tracking expenses by the team; monthly reconciliation of actuals to budget; teams roll-up to D&A
* Budget presentation to senior leadership.
* Track and report the ROI of products/projects
* Develop/manage program governance model and communication plan for ensuring we are standardizing processes across the D&A team
The Program Management Leader must have strong practical experience in project management, which was gained through managing large and complex projects. S/he must have the following:
* Good knowledge and handling of project and program management methodology and techniques
* Good understanding of the wider objectives of the Data & Analytics program
* Strong knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation procedures
* Ability to work positively with the wide range of individuals involved in program management
* Strong leadership and management skills
* The ability to find innovative ways to resolve problems
Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
Qualifications/Requirements
* 15+ years of experience in Program Management or running large scale teams
* 8+ years of experience in leadership/management experience
* 5+ years of experience in data project management experience
* Data & Analytics experience within a global CPG (Consumer Packaged Good) company, or related
* Experience working across the PepsiCo organization, ideally with multi-country or global implementation experience involving data
* Knowledge of some of the key concepts around master data management, data standards, analytics, and digital transformation
* Strong knowledge and understanding of data acquisition, data catalogues, data standards, and data management tools
* Strong Communication Skills/Able to Persuade/Influence Others at all Organization Levels and the ability foster lasting partnerships
* Ability to translate business requirements into critical data dependencies and requirements
