Basic Job Functions:
A Detailer (Draftsperson) is responsible for preparing joist and deck erection drawings according to project specifications and contract drawings using 3D software (Tekla). Detailers must be able to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings, specifications, and design requirements related to steel joist and steel deck. A Detailer must be able to apply this information to the preparation of approval submittal drawings, coordination of information between Vulcraft and our customer, and preparation of final drawings and bills of materials for release to production with all information necessary for correct product design and manufacture.

Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience in detailing joist and deck or structural steel
* Two year technical degree or equivalent work experience
* Experience with Tekla 3D software
* Ability to read and understand structural and architectural drawings with specifications
* Willing to relocate to outside Sales office in SC, NC or FL dependent upon availability of position

This segment sells its ferrous scrap to electric arc furnace steel mills and foundries for manufacturing process; and nonferrous scrap metal to aluminum can producers, secondary aluminum smelters, steel mills and other processors, and consumers of various nonferrous metals.
