The Identity engineering team builds and manages Microsoft's online identity providers for all of Microsoft's online services and platforms like Azure, Office, Xbox, and HoloLens. We boldly pursue big ideas that power transformational advances in Groups vertical in Azure Active Directory. Groups serve as the core of automation and powers a wide variety of Identity and Access Management services. Our work enables customers to easily manage access to their cloud applications, power collaboration through Microsoft 365 groups and ease management scenarios such as rule based dynamic membership, policy assignment and group life cycle management. Our customers, partners and Microsoft internal services rely on the group construct for their solutions and thus every line of code you write has an impact on our customers all around the world. This is a broad cross-team role with high visibility. You will collaborate closely with multiple teams across Microsoft to deliver key customer solutions and the technology to support them.
* Lead design and implementation of future architecture for highly scalable, durable, low latency identity management systems.

Basic Requirements
* 8+ years of enterprise-level software development experience on Distributed Services
* Experience building a large scale (1M+ transactions/day), highly available service (99.99) from conception to deployment (Full lifecycle).
* Expertise in any modern continuous delivery/deployment systems (GIT, Azure DevOps, Kubernetes, etc..)
* Passion for operational excellence.
* Experience with Cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, etc..)
* Ability and experience having cross-team impact, collaboration, and influence.
* Experience mentoring Jr. engineers and helping them grow.
Preferred Requirements:
* Technical leadership, experience in high performing, agile teams
* Experience with Identity Access Management or other Security products.
