Job Summary:
The Sr. BI System Analyst will work directly with the business organization and other IT architects to align modern BI technologies with business requirements. Using data analytics and business expertise, the candidate will coordinate multi-disciplinary requirements, governance, solution, schedules, and prioritization for the organization. He/she will combine business acumen, technology, and innovation to organize data, enable insights, and help create a modern data-driven organization at a fast pace and agile environment.
This position requires the candidate to be a solid team player and results-oriented. High sense of integrity, good communication skills, great attention to detail, and proven track record to work with different partners and technologies are essential qualities for a successful candidate.

Responsibilities:
Partner with Business and other IT Solution Architects to gain a deep understanding of the business processes and analytics requirements.
Establish and maintain business communications, project prioritizations, and accountable for delivering quality solutions on time using Cepheid ITs methodologies, security, and governance model.
Responsible for business requirements, write functional specifications, file feed specifications and implement solutions that drive improvement in key business metrics, customer experience, and business results.
Participate in a daily agile methodology to promote a disciplined process and faster adaptation. Involve in defining technical standards and governance.
Translate business requirements into technical design documentation and effectively working with the offshore/nearshore development team
Responsible for designing, developing, and testing BI solutions that involve databases, data warehouses, ETLs, SQL queries, reports, and dashboards.
Help drive data quality and data governance and participate in Analytics COE.
Align with Software Change Controls and promotion process defined by Software Quality
Mentors junior staff and conduct business user training as needed.

Requirements:
Bachelors degree in the areas of Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent field of study required.
7+ years experience with 3 or more of the following solutions: Microsoft Power BI or equivalent tools, SQL, and Redshift/snowflake
Minimum of 5+ years in Analytics Solutions (AWS experience would be a plus)
2+ years of Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools like JIRA/Confluence
Good written and verbal communication skills working with different partners
Excellent analytical problem solving and fact-finding skills
Strong relationship-building skills, internally within IT and with business users
Ability to multi-task and manage time and resources efficiently and effectively.
Ability to work independently.
