The Lead Application Architect designs and develops IT applications architecture solutions to business problems in alignment with the enterprise architecture direction and standards. Responsibilities

The Lead Application Architect performs technical planning, architecture development and modification of specifications. Develops specifications for new products/services, applications and service offerings. Assesses the compatibility and integration of products/services proposed as standards in order to ensure an integrated architecture across interdependent applications. Advises executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision, Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.

Required Qualifications

* In lieu of a degree, 15 years experience total as software engineer, developer, application architect, or leader of technology for large IT projects
* Prior project lead experience
* Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving provider and consumer experiences
* Strong technical experience designing and architecting database and data warehouse solutions including extraction, transformation, and load of data from various financial and clinical data sources
* Excellent collaborative communication skills among business and IT development, Product Owner, and Senior leadership teams and individuals
* Experience in Agile Software Development methodology

Preferred Qualifications

* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
* Azure Cloud Fundamental, Developer, or Architect Certifications
* Experience architecting a product capability in Azure Cloud
* Development or architecting population health management product capabilities that includes enabling payor agnostic components within application
* Microsoft SQL 2012, 2016, or 2017 Certification
* Experience building and architecting hl7 Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resource (FHIR) interoperability standards for data exchange
* Experience in utilizing web service API's to exchange healthcare data and building user web interfaces
