Responsible for assisting in the execution of creating innovative spaces for consumer driven experiences.
Responsibilities
* Able to understand information from design briefs
* Assists in forming a design point of view for all aspects of the project
* Contributes to the overall concepts based on strategic insight
* Works with team members in developing the best space plan and visual merchandising options for effectiveness
* Proves color and material specifications
* Executes through final design deliverable
* May present ideas and work to team members
Required Qualifications and Qualities
* Bachelors degree in Interior Design
* Strong portfolio with experience in retail
* An interest and understanding of various space planning methodologies
* Working knowledge of furnishings and equipment
* Knowledge of the range of design principles and aesthetics
* Strong sketching and rendering skills
* Sketch up and AutoCad skills required
* Ability to develop strong relationship with all levels
* Strong written and verbal communications skills
* Strong listening skills
* Ability to excel under pressure
* Must have a critical eye for details
* Strong follow up and follow through
