Job Description

Responsibilities Include:
* Create and establish enterprise technology and architectural standards, roadmaps to support strategic IT direction using emerging technologies.
* Coordinate and integrate applications, infrastructure, data and processes to support improvements.
* Develop and maintain processes and services designed to maintain ongoing alignment with overall customer goals and strategies.
* Analyze impact of changes on overall program and provide guidance and solutions in case of any challenges.
* Support Project Managers across program with creation, execution and review of the project and make sure schedules are met.
* Guide and support overall program innovation and technology to meet client requirements and strategic roadmap.
* Guide and support teams on Troubleshooting calls and help with identifying root cause and address production issues quickly and effectively.

Required qualifications include:
* Master's degree and 10+ years of related experience; or 12 years related experience in lieu of master's degree; (Bachelor's required)
* 7 or more years of data science experience; 3 or more years in Cloud setting;
* Certifications - Data Science and Cloud-Native data science specializations;
* Expertise in data science and data wrangling best practices, tools, and techniques
* Expertise in Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning using Deep Learning Frameworks, Analysts Notebooks, and Spark/Python/R Libraries
* Experience working with large data sets including data integration, data migration, analysis and visualization
* Experience with cloud-native data analytic solution architectures
* Must have an active Top Secret security clearance and able to obtain a TS/SCI.
* Supports business by developing technical and business solutions.
* Identify solutions based on business and technical criteria, analyzes alternatives based on trade space, and implements designs.
* Research current and emerging technologies and process methodologies and proposing changes and tailoring where needed.
* Assess the system and business process architectures currently in place and works with staff to recommend improvements.
* Ensure technical architecture teams deliver efficient and effective system solutions to support business goals and objectives.
* Develop, enhance and maintain established service design procedure and process by applying process frameworks and methodologies.
* Prepare and present test plan, technical presentations, and analyst briefings.
* Identify customer requirements, analyze alternatives and conduct product recommendations related to software, platform and network configurations.
* Provide updates to stakeholders on project cost, schedule, and quality in comparison to stakeholder objectives.
* Provides expert guidance and leadership to less-experienced colleagues.

Preferred qualifications include:
* Experience with Hadoop/Spark big data frameworks - including Open-Source and Commercial distributions (Databricks, Cloudera/Hortonworks, MapR) and Cloud-based services (AWS EMR, Azure HD Insight;)
* Demonstrated experience developing and scaling engineering solutions for both structured and unstructured data;
* Strong communication skills to communicate with customers, support personnel and stakeholders;
* Master's Degree is strongly preferred.
