The role of the Business Marketing team is to articulate Instagram for Business value propositions at scale to help businesses grow and transform. We are passionate about helping businesses of various sizes and types understand the ways in which Instagram, as part of Facebooks family of apps and services, can help them achieve their core objectives and tap into the creativity of Instagram. We are constantly looking for new ways to inspire, educate and grow the industry. We are looking for an experienced individual to help manage the marketing of Instagram as a B2B platform in the commerce space. As Instagram is a highly creative platform, the marketing manager should have a strong passion for design aesthetic, a high creative bar, and an interest in storytelling. The candidate will need to combine highly creative thinking and a hands-on approach to successfully execute and deliver high-impact and scalable ideas, engaging communications and experiences within set deadlines. The ideal candidate will bring an entrepreneurial spirit, an eagerness to learn and lead, a strong curiosity, and be comfortable with ambiguity as Instagram evolves, grows and leads the industry in providing businesses with a new way to sell. This person must have experience with developing insight-led marketing programs across paid, owned and earned channels, including, but not exclusive to, digital and social campaigns, large-scale events, partnerships, marketing collateral, case studies, webinars and engaging video content. A successful candidate will have deep knowledge of marketing strategy across a variety of industries, the e-commerce space as well as a track record of producing best-in-class campaigns and activations. Excellent communication, project management skills and the ability to use data to inform and measure success are critical to success in this position. The candidates experience should demonstrate the ability to work with large cross-functional teams locally and in different regions globally.

Instagram Business Marketing Manager - Instagram Shopping Responsibilities

* Develop and execute annual business marketing strategy to drive awareness, education and adoption of Instagram Shopping

* Support in the execution of tentpole moments that package Instagram Shopping products as holistic solutions for large and small businesses. Help define the positioning of Instagram Shopping selling tools for businesses and create insights-driven marketing strategies that cater to various business needs

* Maintain a clear understanding of product features and how they impact businesses. Clearly define appropriate target audiences, then deliver relevant messaging through owned channels and/or paid advertising

* drive product marketing campaigns that support larger brand strategy goals

* Draft briefs, develop product messaging, create blog posts, social media and digital content, educational resources and thought-leadership content

* Collaborate and drive alignment with consumer marketing, product marketing, partnerships, creative teams, and more to bring the Instagram Shopping vision to life in market and reach audiences at scale

* Partner with third party vendors, such as agencies

* develop briefs and direct the creation of marketing assets

* Maintain a global perspective on e-commerce and awareness of e-commerce industry

* partner with regional peers to localize business marketing materials

* Integrate Instagram Shopping into internal events and webinars to educate and inspire businesses

* Create and maintain central sources of truth for business collateral, including narratives and playbooks to help businesses learn and implement best practices

* Develop Instagram Shopping success stories

Minimum Qualifications

* 8+ years of relevant or related working experience. Relevant experience includes brand marketing, strategic planning, communications planning, B2B marketing or business strategy roles within a marketing organization and/or in advertising/marketing agencies

* Experience producing collateral, presentations, website content, videos, and other business marketing materials

* Experience partnering with digital and media teams to deliver on measured, data-driven marketing programs

* Experience working with businesses in e-commerce and/or retail verticals

* Experience managing budgets and vendors

* Proven communication skills

* Proven sense of partnership and client service

* Self-driven and motivated to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

* Experience in prioritizing work with the greatest impact

* Track record of operating independently, demonstrating creativity, being detail-oriented, and delivering results in a highly organized manner

* Experience that includes delivering both digital and traditional marketing materials

* Solid experience in fostering seamless cross-functional working relationships in medium to large organizations

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Drive and related project/program management applications to drive best practices

* Experience marketing for/to small business audience
