Eastman Chemical Company is seeking a Sourcing Manager, Information Technology Systems in Kingsport, TN.

Summary of Duties: Responsible for Infrastructure (cloud and on-premise) and Software (Engineering, Design and Manufacturing, including SaaS and on-premise) sourcing/procurement activities. Conduct category management activities of spend, with the goal of achieving significant initial cost reductions, while maintaining/improving product quality and supplier service levels. Work closely with key stakeholders in functional member organizations and in corporate functions to execute effective cost reduction strategies and implementation plans.

Qualifications: Position requires a Masters degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain, or in a related field of study, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered, or as a IT Procurement Manager, Global Sales & Services, Operations Manager, or IT Services Manager. Alternatively, will accept a Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain, or in a related field of study, and four (4) years of experience in the job offered, or as a IT Procurement Manager, Global Sales & Services, Operations Manager, or IT Services Manager.

Position also requires two (2) years of experience with the following: IT consulting, IT quality testing and governance, enterprise technology products (SaaS and On-Premise), business development, sourcing or commercial experience including contract negotiations, market assessments, strategy frameworks (including Porter analysis and SWOT analysis); Information Technology ERP Software (SAP) or Systems specification, capability, and normal commercial offer terms for large enterprises; problem-solving, using data and problem-solving frameworks including Kepner-Tregoe or McKinsey 4-step; IT services, IT architecture, licensing models, hardware components including data center equipment, storage arrays, compute, and VMware; Forecasting industry trends and gaugeing emerging competitive forces; Identifying changes in buyer and supplier power within core materials markets; Negotiating terms with suppliers; Standardizing and coordinating financial planning, strategy development, quarterly business reporting, and annual business reporting.
