Position overview
This 2021 Summer Intern position begins in May 2021 and runs full time through the summer. This position offers an exciting opportunity to grow technically and broaden capabilities while contributing to unique state-of-the art solutions that truly make a difference.

Primary Responsibilities:

* You will benefit from working side by side with a talented and experienced group of professionals who are eager to mentor you. Your role will be to provide analytical support to Civil Space and Sea Systems Finance team with a focus in areas Financial Planning and Analysis, Budget/Rates and Accounting Controls. You will also have opportunities to develop communication, leadership and technical skills and gain exposure to high technology products and services we manufacture.
* Financial Planning and Analysis: Assist in the monthly financial consolidations, prepare financial reporting package to senior leadership, maintain monthly deliverable requirements schedule and assist in forecasting activities
* Budget / Rates: Assist in monitoring departmental expense budgets to calculate various rate pools (Fringe, OH, SG&A;)
* Accounting Controls: Assist in annual controls testing for both Sarbanes-Oxley and Government Compliance, as well as assisting in contract closeouts

Basic Qualifications:

* Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
* Must be a U.S. Citizen
