Field Service Device Sales Support Specialist needs to be the Go To person within the territory for field devices, especially Valves, Actuators & VFDs know the products inside and out. The Field Device Specialist needs to work with the local Honeywell Reps & RSMs to set up appointments. The Reps should walk the Field Device Specialist into their distributors & / or dealers, so the Field Device Specialist can extend their expertise on our field device.
* Work independently from the local territory reps, supporting Honeywell distributors, wholesalers, and Consulting Engineers plus by making sales calls with them to their customers.
* Sell product lines for an entire building. Let the customers know that Honeywell has the complete product lines that will fulfill the contractors needs on bid date and once they get the project.
* Show as many applications that utilize either a damper actuator, control valve or VFD. I.E.: (Air handler control valves, unit ventilator control valves and outside air damper actuators, economizer damper actuators, cooling tower fans, air handler fans, condenser pumps, chilled water pumps, boiler pumps, etc.).
* Sell the Takeoff Service as if it was a product line. This is an edge Honeywell has over our competitors. Offer the Takeoff Services for: the estimating stage, submittal stage, & / or engineering stage.
* Call on & conduct Lunch & Learns with Consulting Engineering firms in order to get Honeywell field devices specified on future projects.
* Conduct training on: Hydronics, Steam, Control Valve Applications, Valve sizing & selection, Pressure independent control valve technology, Damper actuator applications, damper actuator sizing, damper actuator selection, VFDs, energy sub meters and Jade economizer.
* Offer services to help with any field device product or application, whether it is via the phone, in person at jobsites or at the customers office.
* Work closely with Product Management & Marketing.
YOU MUST HAVE
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in the building automation industry
* Valid Drivers License

* In-depth knowledge of Honeywell and competitor platforms, products and technologies
* Experience in technical writing and preparation of proposals
* Strong verbal and written communications skills
* Familiarity with industry regulatory requirements and future mandates
