We also expand our care to the community with our freestanding Emergency Department at Hunters Creek ER.

Osceola Regional Medical Center is currently seeking an Echo/EKG/Vascular Tech to join our Echo team. The position will be Full-time on Mixed shifts and will have rotating weekend requirements.

* Demonstrates concern and empathy to patients. Demonstrates responsibility and accountability in performing procedures, contributes of physician diagnosis, and provides care in a caring, compassionate, and respectful manner.

* Verifies physician order and reviews patients cardiac history prior to the procedure. Prepares and positions patients and equipment in a safe, competent manner in accordance with established operating procedures.

* Demonstrates competency and performs consistently under non-routine conditions and complex situations. Coaches others on performance and suggests ideas for development. Uses knowledge to challenge current assumptions/practice. Significantly improves specific processes; recommends and facilitates initiatives to improve stakeholder value. Drives key business improvements and results. Participates as a subject matter expert.

* Performs echocardiography procedures/studies in accordance with established operating procedures and routines accurately and in a timely manner.

* Collects clear data for physician analysis of cardiac structure and functioning. Ensures reports are processed and report data is provided to physician at completion of procedure.

* Maintains proactive and effective communication with cardiologist regarding any unusual clinical findings or history.

Qualifications

Position Qualifications

* Completion of an accredited; approved program in Sonography.

* One to three years experience.

* Registry/registry eligible from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)/ CCI

* BLS Certification
