The Data Analyst/Coordinator provides data analysis, visualization, and project coordination support to a division within government agency in Washington, DC. The Analyst will act as a liaison with data teams and other stakeholders, and help support division wide data integration and collection efforts.
Duties include:
* Serve as liaison to the Data team to ensure agency data priorities are met
* Conduct high-level data interpretation and analysis using a data analytics platform such as Tableau
* Support or initiate written summaries and presentations that reflect the results of data analysis and present findings
* Provide ad-hoc data reporting as needed
* Create Division dashboards and visualizations using Tableau
* Facilitate collection of data from a variety of sources including grantee data, monitoring data and other sources
* Provide technical assistance and training to grantees and federal staff on data entry and data visualization
* Manage grant monitoring workflows in SharePoint
* Assist with projects that support the continual improvement of data collection and analysis, including the design of a case management system
This position requires a Public Trust or the ability to obtain one.
Education
Requires BS/BA degree. Master's degree strongly preferred
Experience/Skills
* 5+ years of experience with quantitative and qualitative data interpretation and analysis
* Experience managing collaborative projects involving multiple stakeholders
* Familiarity with analytic software package and data visualization tools such as Tableau
* Expertise working with MS Office suite of tools, including MS Excel, MS Access, and MS SharePoint
* Exceptional analytic skills
* Strong attention to detail
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Strong project management skills
* Experience working with immigrants, refugees, and underserved populations is preferred
