DESCRIPTION

Would you like to be part of a team focused on increasing the adoption of CloudFront (AWS-CDN), Perimeter Protection & Global Accelerator services? Do you have the business savvy and technical background necessary to help establish Amazon as a key CDN and security provider?

As Sales Specialist for Edge Services, you will have the exciting opportunity to help drive the growth and shape the future of an emerging CDN and Perimeter Protection services technology (WAF/Shield Advanced).

Your responsibilities will include driving revenue, adoption, and market penetration in SMB accounts. The ideal candidate will posses both a sales and technical background that enables them to drive engagement at the CXO level as well as with software developers and IT architects.
The candidate should also be a self starter who is prepared to develop and execute against a territory coverage plan and consistently deliver on quarterly revenue targets.
Expect moderate travel.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

5+ years of technology related sales or business development experience
5+ years direct field experience working with enterprise accounts.
BA/BS degree required
Direct field experience in selling CDN and/or Security products or services

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

A technical background in engineering, computer science, or MIS a plus
Strong verbal and written communications skills
Extensive customer network
Strong verbal and written communications
Strong leadership skills, outcome oriented thinking

This position must be located at one of our U.S. AWS Corp. offices with a preference for Atlanta.
