Sr. Principal Solutions Architect.
t
* Researches and implements architecture designs and patterns to improve the company's advantage in the market place.
t
* Works with the enterprise business architects, application architects, database architects and technology architects for deploying technology solutions.
t
* Strategizes and contributes to enterprise level technological initiatives on architecture and design.
t
* In addition to the individual contributor primary responsibilities shown below, may also have managerial responsibilities such as: recruits, directs, motivates and develops staff, maximizing their individual contribution, their professional growth and their ability to function effectively with their colleagues as a team.
t
* May also manage and forecast operating budget within the approved plan.
t
* Ensures high quality delivery of the company's architecture and design services.
t
* Defines solution architecture for domain-specific initiatives.
t
* Leads research, definition and implementation of architecture governance and design disciplines for business solutions.
t
* Defines and promotes common architecture designs, methodology, standards and practices across the enterprise.
t
* Strives to drive more value out of the company's data asset.
t
* Provides enterprise data architecture planning, design and deployment in business solutions.
t
* Directs time to market and productive data solutions, in compliance with corporate policy.
t
* Provides architecture consulting services on more complex issues throughout the enterprise.
t
* Contributes to the achievement of multiple teams' objectives
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required. Advanced degree preferred. 12+ years of experience in technology and architecture roles required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus
