Overview

We are looking for a Network Analyst I to join our growing team at Burlington.This position provides support for the network and network infrastructure. Perform tasks related to successful daily operations and maintenance of the networks in the data center as well as stores and corporate offices. Physical and logical installation of network related equipment. Must have ability to drive complicated projects to successful completion. Supports a wide range of Cisco network equipment.

* Analysis/Support
1. Solid understanding of how to install and configure network equipment including routers and switches, management ports, wireless access points and bridges

2. Support the maintenance of complex, logical network configuration of routers, switches, VOIP and firewalls associated with network traffic.

3. Rack/Stack/Configure network related equipment

4. Support of most aspects of network administration including configuration of SAMBA, YP, IPSEC tunnels, network security and 3 rd party packages

5. Familiar with fundamental networking concepts, configure routing, switching, Domains and DNS

6. Management experience with VOIP, MPLS, Broadband, EVDO.

7. Administer scripts for task automation (Perl, Shell or VBscript)

* Maintenance ( WAN/LAN support)
1. Familiar with routines for troubleshooting, debugging and restoring communications within the network

2. All aspects of vendor management as it relates to maintenance.

* Operational Support
1. Troubleshoot problems and issues independently

2. Able to administer complex site independently via on call rotation

3. Any other duties as assigned for support of network operations

Requirements:

Education: Degree/certification or equivalent work experience in computer science or related field

Licenses/Certification/Registration: Cisco certification a plus

Experience: 3+ years of experience, including experience with voice, routing, and switching.

Skills and Abilities: experience in supporting large intricate fault tolerant networks.
