Cloud Infrastructure Security Engineer

SUMMARY

SAP HXM Cloud is looking for a seasoned Cloud Infrastructure Security Engineer with a strong DevOps engineering background and extensive Security Operations experience to help with DevOps security initiatives and implementing security best practices in the areas of infrastructure, network security, secure by default architecture and secure coding.

The engineer will be part of the Infrastructure Security team under the CISO office and work closely with Operations, Application Security, Compliance, and Engineering teams. A qualified candidate should have 5+ years of experience with production, network and application environments as well as secure public cloud experience.

THE ROLE

In this role, youll be part of a cross organizational team responsible for designing and promoting secure by default architecture and development practices. You will work as part of the InfoSec, Operations and Engineering teams to craft and enforce security policy related to DevOps, infrastructure and beyond.

You will support integrating security concepts and checkpoints into the CI/CD pipeline and containerization process and collaborate effectively with other teams including Architects, Risk Management, Compliance and product development teams to implement best practices, remediate vulnerabilities, educate employees, and keep the customer data safe. This position will be responsible for executing security operation control to respond to and mitigate security incidents and analyze and harden existing infrastructure, automation and DevOps process.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

* Expert experience with all aspects of security in SaaS application environments
* Hands-on experience with major security operations tools and technologies including SPLUNK.
* Working experience with CI/CD pipeline, containerization and microservices transformation.
* Solid understanding of SaaS and operational delivery.
* Expert knowledge and experience with multiple public clouds.
* Strong Linux administration and scripting experience.
* Minimum of 5 years supporting production environments.
* Experience in requirements identification, solution analysis/testing, and security product selection.

NICE TO HAVE:

* Experience with database technologies.
* Vendor solution evaluation and management experience.
* Penetration testing/vulnerability testing/auditing experience.
* Experience with scaling infrastructure and process inside a rapidly growing business.
* Exposure to at least one of the compliance frameworks is a plus.
* Relevant Security certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, Certified Ethical Hacker
