Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control in Lufkin, Texas is seeking an experienced System Integration/Test Engineer responsible for Test System troubleshooting and repair. Test systems are used in the production testing of missile and launcher hardware. The candidate will be responsible for Automated Test Equipment failure analysis, repair and verification & validation. Applicant should be a proven problem solver who can multi-task in a complex, production environment.
The candidate will work under only general direction reporting to a Test System Functional Manager. The candidate will work with the Test System team, Production Test Engineers, program engineers, and Quality to fault isolate and repair complex Automated Test Equipment (ATE). The candidate will collaborate with the Test System team, Quality, customer representatives, and other production support personnel to verify and validate the Test System in the production facility with the Unit Under Test. The candidate will support and perform failure investigations conducted by program engineers.
The candidate will work with cross-functional organizations, such as Quality to ensure compliance with Enterprise engineering processes related to production test operations, including validation at the production site. When necessary, the candidate will travel to Lockheed Martin production facilities, suppliers facilities, and customer facilities.
Basic Qualifications:
-Experience in troubleshooting Analog and Digital Electronics
-Proficiency with common equipment (DMM, Oscilloscopes, Power Supplies)
-Working knowledge of data communication protocols
- familiarity with test system hardware for the purpose of troubleshooting
-familiarity with test system software design for the purpose of troubleshooting
-Proficient with hardware and software configuration management process
-Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
-Ability to obtain a secret security clearance.
Desired Skills:
-Proficiency with developing test software in National Instruments LabView development frameworks and TestStand
-Proficiency with Object Oriented Programming, C++ and/or C
-Electronics working/troubleshooting knowledge in RF
-Production troubleshooting experience
-Skilled in Root Cause and Corrective Action
