Under the direction of the Environmental Director or supervisor, cleans patient and non-patient areas. Performs a variety of cleaning services and replenishing duties such as restocking linen in assigned areas and cleaning supplies. Ability to use buffers, up right vacuum cleaner etc. if assigned. Must be able to understand and follow all hospital policies and procedures as well as Environmental Services departmental policies and procedures for cleaning. Good public relation skills, requires courtesy and tactfulness at all times.
Job Requirements
1. HighSchool Diploma preferred but not required
2. Priorhousekeeping experience in hospital, nursing or hotel preferred.
3. Abilityto use computer on a limited basis.
