Job Description
The Intel Power Architecture and Technologies group is seeking a candidate for a team developing Power Management for Next-Generation, Leading Edge Client SOC products. The team develops Active and Idle Power Management Architecture and Microarchitecture to enhance SOC Workload Performance and drive Battery Life targets, and defines On-Die Resource Management to unleash IP-Level capabilities.
The qualified candidate will define and own Power management at a Subsystem level and/or Individual Die level from Product Definition phases through Post-Silicon enabling, and will work with Firmware, Logic Design, and Validation teams to ensure quality in implementation and productization
In this role, responsibilities include (but not limited to):
* Determines, specifies and evaluates the viability of complex hardware features and structures and ensures that software and hardware designs interface correctly.
* Designs framework for particular functions. Defines, documents and tests processes for inclusion into technical platforms, subsystem specifications, input/output and working parameters for hardware and/or software compatibility.
* Identifies, analyzes and resolves subsystem and/or SoC design weaknesses. Influences the shaping of future products by significantly contributing to the architecture used across design families.
* Provides multilayered technical expertise for next generation initiatives.

Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering with 4+ years of experience or Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering with 3+ years of experience or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering with 1+ years of experience or related field
Your experience should be in the following
* 2+ years of experience in CPU and Computer Architecture
* 1+ years of experience in Power Management
* Experience with Software Programming/ Scripting: Python, C/ C++
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in RTL-level Logic Design and Validation
* Experience in PnP (power estimation and projections, post silicon correlation, architectural tradeoffs)
