Assembly and Test Technology Development (ATTD) Machine Learning Engineer:

Initiates the design, development, execution and implementation of visual inspection platforms that provide defect detection and measurement capabilities for technology manufacturing process tools in high-volume production.
The position requires application of state-of-the art image processing and analytical methods to detect visual artifacts at a high degree of precision.

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

* Collaborate with a team of fellow researchers to invent and innovate novel techniques, methods and models that can put to prime time use in our factories.
* Work with various sensors and optics to improve metrology capabilities.
* Investigates the feasibility of applying artificial intelligence principles and concepts to potential solution inventions.
* Maintains substantial knowledge of state-of-the-art principles and theories and contributes to scientific literature and conferences.

Qualifications

You must possess the below requirements to be initially considered for this position.

Preferred qualifications are in addition to the requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Requirements

* Possess a PhD degree in Computer Science or related Engineering discipline

2+ years of experience with the following (having more than one will be preferred):

* Researching and applying deep learning techniques for solving practical problems in image analysis
* Applying OpenCV or MatLab for meaningful research and practical problems in image processing.
* 3-D image processing techniques, texture analysis, variational segmentation and classification methodologies.

Preferred

5+ years of experience with the following (having more than one will be preferred):

* Knowledge of AI techniques
* Python, C++
* Publications in high quality conferences and journals such as CVPR, NIPS, ICCV, ECCV, SIGKDD, PAMI, TIP, etc
