AbbVies Manufacturing Operations Business Management Office (BMO) is transforming the organization by centralizing and streamlining key activities to support Operations Business Technology Solutions.
This position will be accountable for tracking, budgeting, analyzing, remediating gaps, and reporting Organization, Portfolio and Project Financials for management reviews. In addition, support annual strategic and operational planning activities, project closure and subject matter expert knowledge for Clarity and ServiceNow applications. This role is required to provide key insights and continuous improvement ideas that directly impact the success of our Business. The contribution from this role will directly benefit project management efficiency, project data accuracy and financial goals within the organization.
Roles & Responsibilities
* Monitor project financials and assist Portfolio Managers with financial reconciliation, budget analysis and gap remediation. Generate financial reporting for management review and work with Finance on monthly, quarterly, and annual financial updates.
* Manage and maintain Functional and Project ongoing costs accuracy throughout the year.
* Assist in correcting issues with SAP to Clarity financial data feed.
* Coordinate the collection of year end accruals across functional teams and submission to finance.
* Small project management including health/financial updates in Clarity PPM tool.
* Provide end user support to operations resources for PPM tools (Clarity, ServiceNow, etc.) and assist in maintaining data quality. Recommend and develop standards for streamlining activities across the organization.
* Support BMO lead with annual planning cycles for Capital Plan and LRP where appropriate.
* Provide Demand/Release/Change support and assist with rollout of new ServiceNow features and enhancements.
Qualifications
OTHER SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
* Experience in project financial management required
* Highly motivated with strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to understand the big picture and impacts to business domains
* Excellent communication skills with experience in Business and Technical arenas
* Experience with the AbbVie annual financial planning process a plus
* Intermediate to advanced skills in the Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis on advanced Excel skills. Experience with Microsoft Teams is a plus
* Experience with navigation and reporting in SAP and/or ServiceNow is a plus
* Experience with Clarity PPM tool a plus
* Bachelors degree in business, IT, operations, or finance.
* 2 years of information technology experience
