Description
Join the Publix IT Team as a Programmer Analyst or System Analyst Programmer where you will be collaborating with other teams on implementing tokenization, encryption, and other data security measures over various HR applications. This will include performing analysis, presenting recommendations, writing specification documents, and considering all potential points of improvement that could be used to strengthen the data security in these applications.
A typical day will consist of:
* Working with existing IT teams and business areas to enable data security changes and assess their impact
* Writing requirements and design documents
* Developing shared solutions as well as unique implementations for each application
* Creating implementation plans that will outline the estimated development cost and a roadmap for implementation
Required Qualifications
* BS in Computer Science or other analytical discipline or equivalent experience
* Minimum of two years experience analyzing business problems and translating business requirements into technology solutions that consider system performance, usability, quality, cross-system interdependencies and scalability
* Minimum of two years designing enterprise class solutions using object-oriented analysis and design, design patterns, UML, service-oriented architecture and solution frameworks
* Minimum of two years development experience with the .NET framework 4.5 or higher including C.
* Experience with applications using .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, C and JavaScript.
* Experience creating and using APIs and Web Services
* Minimum of two years experience with SQL Server 2016 or above
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
* Background working with tokenization and encryption
* 5+ years of full-stack web development experience with the .NET framework 4.5 or above including C. MVC
* Experience working with Microsofts SSIS and SSRS applications
* Experience with project planning and system development lifecycle
* Experience with one or more of the following: HTML, DHTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery and AJAX

Before Publix was founded in 1930, Mr. George worked at a Piggly Wiggly store in Winter Haven, Florida. While managing that store, the company experienced a change in ownership. Eager to introduce himself and share his ideas with the new owner, he traveled to Atlanta. The new owner declined to meet with Mr. George, stating he was tied up in an important business conference.
Mr. George left feeling disappointed. On his way back to Florida, he knew he wanted to build a company where everyone would have a voice and the doors to communication would always be open. He dreamed of creating a work environment where associates would feel respected and valued.
In 1930, his dream became a reality when he opened his first Publix and established a workplace with an open door of communication where his associates were encouraged to share their ideas, ask questions and talk freely with one another regardless of their level in management.
