Job Overview:

Input appropriate information into the Fed Flo System to verify and authorize movement of inbound and outbound trailers. Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Functions:

Responsible for ensuring that outbound appointments are logged according to facility standards.

Responsible for logging arrival of all inbound trailers.

Responsible for creating the inbound Fed Flo appointment if the store failed to create one and the truck has arrived to the DC.

Responsible for completing the Fed Flo Store Non-Compliance Log on returning trailers that are not in Fed Flo on missing seal information.

Verify inbound shuttle trailer (create appointment not created at store level).

Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Prior experience in a distribution center preferred.

PC knowledge, specifically Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.

Communication Skills:

Strong verbal and written communication skills to interface with colleagues and people leaders.

Ability to read, write and interpret instructional documents such as reports and procedure manuals.

Mathematical Skills:

Basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Reasoning Ability:

Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Physical Demands:

This position involves regular walking, standing, sitting, hearing and talking.

May occasionally involve stooping, kneeling, or crouching.

May involve close vision, color vision, depth perception, focus adjustment.

Involves manual dexterity for using keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment.

May involve moving or lifting items under 10 pounds.

Sense of urgency and the ability to work independently.

Attention to detail and effective organization skills.

Works harmoniously and effectively with others as part of a team.

Work Hours:

Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and company needs.
