Direct and lead a staff comprising of engineers and scientists focused on life science, protective and industrial solutions. The R&D Manager is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the applications and testing laboratories, in addition to pilot and small-scale production efforts operated by 3rd party engineering. You will manage a variety of resources and new product development (NPD) projects, department, and project budgets, and the priorities of the team to help ensure achievements are met. With the marketing and product management functions, you will help refine and execute the technology roadmaps to drive business growth and drive increased NPI business performance and efficiencies.

You Must Have
BA/BS in polymer engineering, polymer science, textile engineering, chemical engineering, or materials science with experience with composites or high-strength fibers.
5+ years of experience managing and leading teams focused on product development and delivering successful products
5+ years subject matter expertise and experience in fiber-based composites or high-strength fiber
