Job Description
At CCMS, we dont design the transportation; we craft the transportation experience. CCMS employees develop the technology enabling a new generation of connected vehicles. This technology is a key enabler to things like smarter car sharing programs, more advanced active safety and even autonomous driving! These capabilities exist through the largest implementation of 4G LTE in the automotive industry and a vehicle wired to collect thousands of data elements. Our environment requires an architecture that can support over 900,000 vehicle transactions per hour with sub-second response times. 4G LTE capability has been described as an untapped, under-appreciated opportunity valued at $350M in improved 2018 profits. Who You Are
This is a challenging and meaningful position for hardworking professionals looking to get in on the ground-floor of a growing Fortune 5 firm with a laser focus on Innovation, Speed, and Business Value. You will perform release integration tests and production environment smoke testing, execute manual test cases, and communicate any defects identified.
In addition you will also :
Responsibilities:
* Author test cases and scenarios from functional and non-functional requirements
* Configure benches to support specific test scenarios & Setup test scenarios which includes Application data setup and vehicle configurations
* Execute both manual and automated test scripts to verify Infotainment components based of the functional requirements.
* Participate in defect triage calls, as required, to expedite defect resolution
* Capture screen shots, log files, etc.
* Identify and communicate testing gaps within test team
* Compile and Report test results and defects to Test Project Manager and Test Engineer
* Develop Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM)
* Desire to work in a fast-paced, highly integrated, technology environment
Additional Job Description
Required skills:
* Bachelor's Degree from an Accredited Institution
* 2 + years of software development and/or software testing experience
* 1+ year of experience with DB Tools (i.e. SQL and Oracle)
* 1+ year software development experience with Java
* Hands on experience with testing tools such as TFS, ALM, SharePoint, Load Runner, QTP, Selenium
* Experience performing Unit, Systems, System Integration, Regression, Security or application performance testing
* Experience with executing both manual and automated test scripts to verify Infotainment components based of the functional requirements.
Preferred Skills:
* Experience with Hibernate, Web Services (REST and/or SOAP)
* Experience with either real time or batch systems
* Experience writing test cases
* Experience testing in agile
* Experience in Mobile and/or Communications testing
* Experience with OO analysis and design
* Expert level Java Development experience
* Experience with web technologies (ideally HTML 5, CSS 3, jQuery, JavaScript)
