Job Summary
The Business Systems Analyst - Marketing and Communications position will develop and execute marketing and public relations strategies with the goal of increasing awareness, interest and participation in deployment of Emerging Technologies in Dominion Energy.
Essential Responsibilities
* Develop and implement focused communication strategies and tactical plans that reach target business segments through multiple channels such as traditional media, social media, web, and email
* Develop and manage the creation of effective marketing content for handouts, advertising and education
* Represent IT Emerging Technologies team at conferences, expos, seminars and fairs. Travel is required.
* Manage dashboard that tracks metrics for various marketing channels
* Conduct ideation sessions using a Design Thinking-based approach to discover opportunities in segments where Emerging Technologies can be deployed
* Identify speaking opportunities and develop content for presentations to target audiences internal to the company as well as at conferences, workshops and webinars
* Write clear and compelling content for various channels, including but not limited to Strategy, Education sessions, Company Portal, website, and email campaigns
* Manage ideation platform by collaborating with Innovation R&D team to shape the content calendar, schedule posts, compile engagement metrics and identify ways to optimize results
* Work with the Enterprise Architecture team to develop and execute engaging internal communications for all levels of the business
* Assist in the development of sales material and presentations across established and emerging product lines
* Implement and maintain system of documenting and tracking activities and analyze results of advertising and marketing campaigns
* Work with IT and Corporate Communication teams
* Prepare marketing budget
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
Basic Qualifications:
* 3+ years directly related marketing or communications experience
* Note: A partial year of related experience of 6 months or greater
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
* Excellent public speaking skills, customer service and interpersonal skills
* Attention to detail for written materials and presentation of data and information
* Sound understanding of marketing principles
* Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
* Well-organized, self-motivated, and detail oriented
* Strong time management skills with ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently, adapt to changing priorities and meet deadlines
* Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, Yammer); Familiarity with video production software like iMovie and Powtoons
* Passion and courage to drive change within organization
* Military service members and veterans with ranks from E3-E5, W1-W2, or O1-O3, plus appropriate equivalent combination of education and years of experience as outlined above.
