About the Role:

We are looking for a Scrum Master to for our SAP business transformation program, Magellan. Magellan scope includes newly forming scrum teams for each of the functional areas within: Finance, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Service, Commercial, Planning and Procurement. In this role the individual will be a Scrum Master for one of the Magellan scrum teams. This individual should have demonstrated prior experience leading an Agile Scrum team and be highly motivated with excellent analysis, execution and continuous improvement skills. This role will also be a part of defining and executing Scaled Agile for BSC ERP (SABER) methodology as we deliver this significant Business Transformation and S4 technology using Agile. In this position, collaboration with globally dispersed business partners and cross-functional team members is a key skill.

Your Responsibilities include:

* Lead an Agile team to deliver solutions through all required sprints
* Ensure Agile/Scrum concepts and principles are adhered to by the team and be able to be a voice of reason and authority
* Encouraging Agile behaviors, reinforcing practices, norms, ceremonies, and supporting the overall performance and effectiveness
* Facilitate the Agile ceremonies necessary to help the team succeed
* Assess and coach teams to higher levels of Agile maturity and becoming self-organized and self-empowered
* Support the Product Owner, especially with respect to grooming and maintaining the product backlog
* Capture team metrics and manage product backlog, measure and track progress
* Remove impediments / blockers, shield the team from external interferences, and enable collaboration across all roles
* Escalate status and blockers to the appropriate governance forum
* Must be able to garner respect from the team and be willing to provide hands-on support to deliver results
* Be transparent with your business partners about status and develop business trust
* Facilitate discussion, decision making, conflict resolution and alternative approaches to challenges
* Resolves issues by working with team members, customers, and others as appropriate

What we're looking for:

Basic Qualifications:

* 5+ years experience in Information Technology projects
* Demonstrated success working in a highly collaborative, matrix environment, with a track record of accomplishments with measurable business impact
* Strong sense of personal accountability and courage to change how we work
* Proven aptitude to learn quickly and improve processes
* Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and business partners
* Ability to negotiate, influence, and collaborate to build successful relationships

Preferred Qualifications:

* SCRUM certification preferred
* PMP certification preferred
* Understand backlog tracking, burndown metrics, velocity, and task definition
* Experience with Agile tools (JIRA) but would be open to other tools
* Experience coaching, and coordinating efforts with, multiple teams, Agile coaches and SCRUM masters within a matrixed organization
