Enterprise Digital Application Experience & Platform team affects digital transformation at American Express by creating world class digital products and scalable platforms through best in class Agile product management, analytics and testing to drive value to our customers and shareholders. We are re-imaging how commerce and experiences converge in a more modern, digital and connected world.

Enterprise Digital Platform team is focused on delivering an ecosystem of products that enable fast, scalable and consistent application development. In order to deliver on a seamless and connected customer experience across channels, we transform how we approach design, data, event processing, analytics and more across the blue box.

We are looking for a Senior Analyst, Strategic Program Management who will help streamline and provide structure to teams intake, prioritization, and release planning processes. You will work across 18+ exciting digital capabilities and One Amex platforms / products helping the teams identify ways to standardize and share best practices to ensure internal and external alignment on dependencies, timelines, roadmaps, analytics, and strategy.

We are looking for someone who is strategic, highly organized, has a strong attention to detail, well-versed in product and enjoys working at the intersection of tech and business.

In this role you will:

* Work closely across Enterprise Digital Platform Product Managers to develop a deep understanding of their products and features
* Manage, prioritize, and triage the portfolio intake funnel
* Laisse and represent the team in LPM (Lean Portfolio Management) planning meetings to provide impacts, commitments, high-level solutioning and sequencing
* Work with product teams through the course of the Program Increment (PI) on JIRA Taxonomy of Features (i.e. carryover Features, PI Stage, Sizing, Feature requirement writing, etc.)
* Develop integrated roadmaps
* Help establish and roll-out a consistent cross-team planning sessions across the platform and key stakeholders
* Track metrics of success/adoption and create reports
* Become a SME on development/ product best practices and success metrics

Minimum Qualifications

Qualifications

* The candidate should be experienced in digital product development
* Experience as a Product Analyst and/or Program Management role who has worked in product/with technology
* Experience with JIRA, Confluence, working with teams in Agile Delivery; Experience with SAFe
* Self-starter who thrives in a dynamic environment and comfortable with white space
* Experience in both enterprise and start up environment is preferred
* Highly organized - you are great at research and documenting your learnings with strong attention to detail
* Ability to lead through influence
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
