Job Description
The Pilot Plant Technician role is positioned at the Dewey plant in Inman, SC. This is a 12-hour rotating shift. Minimal travel between locations required. Candidate is expected to be a team player and work in coordination with plant members to accomplish goal of delivering absolute top-quality product to the customer in a safe, efficient, accurate, and timely manner.
Responsible for running pilot scaled batches to validate and develop new production processes. Rotate with other team members through pilot plant / development processes on a periodic basis to maintain your Process Certification. Be proficient in all phases of team operation. Goal is to be a leader of a "self-managed" Production Team. Actively contribute to process improvement and innovation and attend necessary meetings.
Required:
High school Diploma or GED Equivalent
Strong communication skills
Ability to multitask
Chemical manufacturing experience
Preferred:
Experience in Microsoft Office
SAP experience
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
